This could of course just be damage limitation, but he does make the valid point that he posted what he claimed to be a sarcastic remark that would be understood by his circle of twitter followers without thinking that it might be seen by others and taken more literally.

Even so, the lesson remains: never say anything on a public forum you don&#039;t want to be attributed to you under its literal meaning.</description>
